Who can be helped with brainwave music?
Brainwave music therapy claims to help people suffering from insomnia, anxiety, and mood disorders, and stress related conditions. It is said to alleviates migraine and tension headaches, as well as drug withdrawal symptoms. Brainwave music therapy increases attention span, concentration and improves productivity in people with attention deficit disorder. It also helps people fight their social and performance anxieties.
Brainwave music therapy could be an invaluable tool for pilots who suffer from pilot fatigue syndrome; military personnel who have to function at the optimum level in high stress situations, and others who have to overcome the disruption of their sleep-awake cycle. This group includes truck drivers, shift workers, health workers, travellers suffering from jet lag, casino and club workers and so many others. It also increases peak performance in athletes and workers trying to get through stressful days.
Brainwave music therapy can also be used for increased creativity and activity.
As our brain emits both fast and slow brainwaves, by arranging predominantly fast waves we are able to create an activating file as well. It increases attention span, boosts a person’s energy, and improves productivity. It could also increase peak performance in athletes and workers trying to get through stressful days.
As I continued looking into the field of brainwave music, I discovered that brainwave music can be used for so much more, depending on what you are looking for, as fortunately not everyone is anxious or an insomniac!
It is quite amazing what is out there for you to try.
For example, you can use brainwave music to quieten your mind so you can become aware and listen to your subconscious when you are awake. Whilst in this state of awareness, you may be able to hear your “guiding spirit” or “guardian angel” offering help and guidance with decision making and problem solving.
One of the brainwave audio’s on this topic that I’ve reviewed has this to say:
“The spirit guide is an entity that was either sent by the greater intelligence of the universe or sprang up from the wisest part of our subconscious. The spirit guide is in tune with all of our inner conflicts, and understands what adventures we must undertake in the future. It has an innate ability to guide us to where we need to go. Some will say it manifests as a spectral animal, others say it is a mysterious person, while others maintain they receive only “gut feelings” and “impulses” that guide their actions.
Regardless, the spirit guide is a profoundly important being in mythology across the world. Mythical heroes always have a guide that moves them along the path toward victory, and teaches them that the truly heroic path is a spiritual one. In early Greek culture, the spirit guide was a symbol of power, and a god in his own right. Though all of the guides helped along the hero, it was usually Hermes who ultimately guided the hero personally through tragedy and on to triumph. In the Cherokee tradition, the spirits of deceased ancestors often offer advice and guide their living relatives to a life of peace and prosperity.
Of course today, spirit guides may manifest as anything the viewer would be most comfortable with, or something that would resonate powerfully within them. In any case, it’s all a matter of learning how to listen. Understand how to hear and know your spirit guide when they are around, and they will be a lantern even in the darkest of times. The main issue with making contact with your spirit guide is that consciousness is often an inhibitor of this profoundly important and powerful spiritual activity. There’s a reason why these guides often come into our dreams to tell us what we need to know and it is that the conscious mind and “noise” of day-today life drowns out the subtle and important advice of the spirit guide”.
“To hear the whisper, one must be silent”
I am just beginning to use an audio I have downloaded and this is why:
Our Anxiety Aid recordings help you cleanse your mind of the ruts that have been building up from constant worry so you can get back to enjoying the things you enjoy. Our recordings tap into your subconscious and give you the tools to chase away the cause of your anxiety, whatever it may be. Just think of how much you’ll accomplish when your brain is free to do the things you want it to, rather than worry yourself sick.
I will let you know how I get on in a day or two.
If it works for me I then may try other brainwave audio’s that I am interested in, the list is long, but I think I might explore brainwave music for ‘weight loss’, as I need to shed more than a few pounds; ‘prosperity’, well it’s pretty obvious why I would want to hear that one. Lastly, for a bit of fun, ‘telepathy’, just imagine what you could do with that:)
Sit back and let brainwave music do the work

What is brainwave music to help with anxiety, insomnia or just music to relax to?
You have obviously heard about ‘BRAINWAVE MUSIC’ and ‘BINAURAL BEATS’ that’s why you are here reading this, but do you know what it is, what it really does?
I didn’t until I recently! I was feeling very down due to a number of financial problems; our business was hardly moving and we were on the edge of bankruptcy. I kept telling myself that it wasn’t our fault, we were doing well until this current economic meltdown, and we were, but like so many other people we were suffering now.
“I was under quite a lot of stress and feeling anxious all the time. You may know that feeling, where there is a knot in your stomach clenching and unclenching, sometimes feeling sick and on top of this, not sleeping very well, finding it difficult getting off to sleep until the early hours, or drifting off, only to wake up with a feeling of dread, leaving me even less able to cope with everyday things, such as trying to help the business and my marriage was suffering too”.
I didn’t want to go to the doctor, as he would just tell me I was depressed and prescribe me a load of pills which I didn’t want. I knew the cause of my anxiety I just needed to find another way of dealing with it.
So I went looking for remedies to help me move away from this negative cycle
There is lots of information out there and this is where I came across the term brainwave music and binaural beats.
It was fascinating, but at times quite technical (for me anyway)! So I have broken the information down into what I hope, are easy to understand, bite size chunks, that are interesting and helpful at the same time. I needed to do this for myself to be sure I understood what it was all about. So the first question I had was:
What are brainwaves and what is brainwave music?
I need to give you this bit of information below as it is fundamental to how it all works. This bit explains the different states are brains are in at any given time and whilst we are in one of these states we give off electrical vibrations
EEG (Electroencephalography) technology is used to measure brain’s electrical vibrations from the surface of the scalp. The resulting EEG pattern will contain frequency elements mainly below 30Hz. The frequencies are categorized into five mind states:
State | Frequency range | State of mind |
Delta | 0.5Hz – 4Hz | Deep sleep, lucid dreaming, increased immune functions |
Theta | 4Hz – 8Hz | Drowsiness, deep relaxation, meditation, increased memory, focus |
Alpha | 8Hz – 13Hz | Relaxed but alert, super-learning, positive thinking |
Beta | 13Hz – 40Hz | Highly alert and focused, stress, anxiety |
